Despite our hectic schedules and generally busy lives, sometimes a pretty sunset over the farm can stop us in our tracks. This picture was taken last week and for a brief moment, the chaos stopped and we all stood quietly to observe the beautiful colors in the sky.

We introduced 17 adult Rhode Island Red hens to our flock yesterday! These birds came to us from a beautiful but overcrowded farm … where they were being re-located as meat birds.
