River, an older Thoroughbred gelding was the very first “member” of Second Chance Farm (long before Second Chance Farm became an official organization). Domino and Hercules
Domino and Hercules are neutered,male La Mancha goats who were previously used in 4-H projects. These two gentlemen needed somewhere to “retire” after their 4-H days were over … so they came to reside at Second Chance Farm. They are goofy, personable, curious guys … just like goats should be.
Mack
Mack came to Second Chance Farm after he was taken to our local animal shelter by his previous owner. He was scheduled to be euthanized because he was an older guy, had heartworms and had severe skin infections. We took Mack in and treated all of his conditions.
