Second Chance Farms, Inc, located in Gainesville, Florida, is a non-profit animal rescue and sanctuary. We offer unwanted, abused, neglected and homeless critters of all species a second chance at having a healthy, happy, loving home. The majority of our animals stay with us temporarily ... until they are rehabilitated and adopted by a family of their very own. We also have a variety of different animals who reside permanently at Second Chance Farms.
Most of our permanent residents have significant medical and/or behavioral concerns and are, therefore, not considered ideal candidates for adoption. Once an animal enters our program, we make a commitment to care for that individual for life. We currently care for dogs, cats, poultry, horses, goats and even reptiles.

We are in need of responsible, caring, safe, foster homes where dogs, cats, puppies & kittens can be cared for until they are old enough to go up for adoption.

All supplies and services (including litter, food, medications, veterinary care, deworming, flea prevention, spay/neuter surgeries, etc) are provided by Second Chance Farms, Inc. Therefore, all you need to provide is love and a safe place for these animals to stay temporarily. There is no long term commitment. Interested in becoming a foster parent?
