Chance waiting a very long time to find his perfect match! Chance, believe it or not, is a Yorkie / Pitbull Terrier mix and who could resist this adorable face? Chance came to us through a sequence of events that most certainly earns him the title of  “a very lucky dog”. He was not originally part of our program, but had participated in one of our low cost microchip clinics. Therefore, when his prior owners dumped him at our local shelter … he was luckily scanned for a microchip and we were notified of his situation (on the day that he was scheduled to be euthanized! It took a little investigating to figure out who this little guy was … since he had not previously been in our program. But we were able to figure out how we knew him … and took him into our program to prevent him from being euthanized. He resided in a foster home for a long time while he patiently waited for just the right family to find him! Congratulations Chance and best wishes to everyone involved in giving Chance his “second chance”!
